Migraines and other types of headaches can be extremely painful for those who suffer from them on a regular basis.

The throbbing pain associated with migraines will often make performing daily tasks difficult.
Depending on the cause of a migraine, there are certain preventative measures that can be taken to avoid an attack. Changing your diet to cut out foods known to cause headaches such as alcohol and caffeine is one way to do this. Sufferers can also take steps to reduce stress in order to lower their chances of getting certain types of migraines or headaches.
Migraine triggers can vary greatly depending on the person. They range from allergies, anxiety, and irregular sleeping patterns to low blood sugar, smoking and dehydration.
